Your account

Delete your Wellness WoRx account.

You can permanently delete your Wellness WoRx account, and the personal data that belongs to it, at any time: from the app, or from this website. Deletion needs your sign-in and your current password. They are the proof that the request is yours.

Forgot your password? Reset it first, then come back here.

How to delete your account

Both routes run the very same deletion. Choose whichever you have to hand.

In the Wellness WoRx app

  1. Open the Wellness WoRx app and go to Profile.
  2. Choose Delete My Account, then Yes, Delete My Account.
  3. Enter the email address on your account and your current password.
  4. Choose Permanently Delete My Account.

On this website

  1. Sign in with the button above (or at wellnessworx.com/login).
  2. You land on Profile with Delete My Account already open; it is also at the bottom of that page.
  3. Enter the email address on your account and your current password.
  4. Choose Permanently Delete My Account.

Your email address is only ever compared with the account you are signed in to. Typing someone else’s address deletes nothing, and no one can delete your account by typing yours.

What happens when you delete

What is deleted

  • Your profile and account record, and your sign-in credentials.
  • Your profile photo and every other file you uploaded (community post images, metric photos).
  • Your Wellness Assessment results and responses.
  • Your Wellness Prescription enrollments, progress and history.
  • Your metrics and every tracking entry.
  • Your journal entries and reflections.
  • Your Navigator relationships, session requests and messages.
  • Your community posts, comments, likes, connections and username history.
  • Your notifications, reminders, saved preferences and device notification tokens.
  • Your Wellness Garden progress.

Deletion is permanent. Nothing is kept for you to recover later, and we cannot restore it afterwards. Your email address becomes available for a new account, and a new account starts with no history from the deleted one.

What is kept, and why

  • Anonymous statistics

Counts such as how many members enrolled in a Wellness Prescription, how far people get, and the distribution of assessment dimensions and score ranges. They contain no name, email, identifier or written content, and once your account is gone they cannot be linked back to you.

  • Records shared with another person, without you

A session you had with a Wellness Navigator stays in their history with your identifiers, your notes and the meeting link removed. An event you hosted stays for the people registered to it, listed as having no host until an administrator assigns one.

  • The reason you give for leaving

Optional, and stored on its own with no identifier, no email and no link to the deleted account — only the reason, a coarse membership length and the platform it came from.

  • What the law may require

A limited amount of information may be retained where that is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, resolve a dispute or prevent fraud and abuse, as the Privacy Policy describes. Only what is necessary, and for no longer than necessary.

When it happens

Deletion runs the moment you confirm, as one request: your data is removed, then your uploaded files, then your sign-in. There is no waiting period, no “pending” state and no way to undo it. Other devices signed in to the account are signed out as part of it. If the request cannot finish, for example because the sign-in could not be removed, you are told so rather than shown a success, and running it again completes the job.

The full statement of your rights, including deletion, is in the Privacy Policy, section 32.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it in the store first, or you may still be billed.

Subscriptions are sold and managed by the store you bought them from, never by this website, so the store is where a cancellation is made and where any refund question goes. Membership access that was granted to you without a purchase simply ends with the account.

If you can’t sign in

Forgotten password

Reset it. A link is sent to the email address on the account, you choose a new password, and then you can sign in and delete the account yourself.

No longer able to use that email address

Send us a deletion request and we will handle it for you. Because an email address on its own is not proof of identity, we verify every request made outside the app before anything is deleted: we reply to the address on the account and ask you to confirm from it, and we may ask for details only the account holder would know. A request we cannot verify is not actioned, and nothing is deleted on the strength of an address alone.

Contact details for privacy requests are published in the Privacy Policy, section 41 (Contact Information).
